I really love the style if this place the decor I lovely and it feels very warm and welcoming.. the staff are all helpful and friendly.. the food is very tasty especially the salads... for a smaller lunch option the beer is good and the regulars seem very nice and polite... there is a restaurant area in the back or you can also eat at the front which feels more like a nice wine bar than the back very quaint overall very nice I will be going back again and again

I've had great food here on more than one occasion. We mostly sit in the bar area as we in with the dog but I have always had fantastic service in any event. Although it is as busy as their sister pub in Disley, I've always found their service to be much better!

(While visiting...) We’re here having an early dinner and I had the battered cod which was really nice (good white fish, crisp batter), with proper chips. My wife had the fillet steak sandwich and she loved it. She had the blackcurrant mousse dessert, and I had the cheese board. Lovely! Great place, great service from Leanna. We can recommend the Midland and will be back again with all the family. Additional: This is certainly an out-of-the-ordinary restaurant. The menu is considerably different from the usual pub fare, being pretty much "gourmet" food (though decent servings) at much less that the price you'd pay in some "gourmet" restaurants. Our meal, for instance, including drinks, was under £45 for the two of us. Compare that with the £130 I paid a while ago for four people at the Swan in Fence. A very ordinary meal at another pub cost £38 for two of us, and we came away from there disappointed. You certainly won't be disappointed at the Midland! Thank you all!
